SMALL PRINT, PLAIN WORDS
How local processing works
The work happens in your browser.
Your images and documents are read by JavaScript and WebAssembly on your device. There is no file-upload processing endpoint, account history or browser database. Clear files, reload or close the tab to discard in-memory selections and results; downloaded copies stay on your device.
Document changes
Keep originals. Editing, merging, encryption and other changes can invalidate digital signatures or alter interactive document features. Inspect important outputs in your regular document reader.
Redaction and cropping
Crop adjusts a visible page box and can leave hidden contents intact. Redact burns a rectangle into rendered page pixels and rebuilds a fresh image-only PDF, discarding source text layers, attachments, forms and metadata. Inspect the result before sharing; there is no automatic sensitive-content detection.
Passwords
Protect PDF uses local AES-256 opening-password encryption. Unlock PDF uses a known password when required; it does not guess passwords. Passwords are processed in tab memory and are not transmitted to a processing server.
Site requests
