GOOD TO KNOW
JPEG fills transparent areas with white. PNG keeps transparency but may produce larger files. GIF input uses its first frame. SVG and first-page TIFF are supported. HEIC, RAW and PSD are unsupported.
Up to 25 MB per file and 60 MB per batch. This limit protects browser memory, especially on phones.
A couple of useful answers.
Does converting to PNG improve quality?
No. A lossless output format preserves the decoded image, but cannot recover detail already lost in a JPEG.
Why is my new file larger?
Different formats suit different images. PNG often makes photos larger; JPEG and WebP are usually better choices for photo file sizes.
Are my files uploaded?
No. These tools process file contents in your browser. Files remain available in this tab until you clear them or close the page. Download a copy before leaving.
